This Grand Event
The collegiate section, D055, of the Society of Women Engineers strives to provide STEM outreach to Memphis City School students. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our section holds a wonderful wine tasting event once a year to provide funds for collegiate activities and STEM outreach. Such activities include helping members to attend national and regional conferences where they learn about outreach and how to succeed in the professional world. The STEM programs, aimed to inspire children to pursue a college education in these fields, are paid for by the monetary support gained from this fun event.

Step out of your steel-toed shoes and into your much neglected stilettos!Whether you are an intern, a newbie in your field, or a seasoned professional, chances are you have been wearing work shoes more than your lovely heels. Please enjoy a wild night at our fundraising event by tasting various wines, dancing to a live band, and showing off your heels.
No worries for those of you who prefer fancy flats to killer stilettos.... everyone is invited to make this year's second annual Steel Toes to Stilettos a success! |
